Captain’s report: Victor T. Mayfair of the time ship Zephyros. We’ve touched down in the misty forests of Eastern Europe and are searching in the shadows for vampires. No sparkles here, my friends. These bloodsuckers are straight out of your worst nightmares. Our goal is to interview the OG Vampire himself, Vlad the Impaler, a 15th century ruler of Wallachia.

He was so brutal in battle that legends say he drank the blood of his enemies. Vlad later inspired the most famous Vampire of all, Dracula. But did you know that Vampire myths exist all over the world? In ancient Greece, they had the Vrykolakas, a corpse that rises from the grave to drink the blood of the living. Not someone you’d want to meet at night.

Vampires, they say, can’t see their own reflection. So next time you pass a mirror, make sure you can see yourself. Think you’d survive a night in vampire territory? Or would you be looking for a mirror and garlic?

Follow for the full interview and more spine tingling adventures from mythos anthology.
